This Day Trip from Marrakesh will take us to the heart of the Atlas Mountains, starting from the big lake of LallaTakerkoust at the great atlas and the foot of Toubkal, the highest mountain of Morocco and second-highest pick in Africa (over 4161 meters), then get the small town of Tahanaout(The second Valley), here we will have the opportunity to visit a weekly Berber market (souk) that meets twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday), which gather the farmers in the region to the great souk. After that, we will continue to Ourika Valley; Green Valley where we will take some amazing photos. As well, we will stop to visit a local family and you will learn about how people in the mountains live and spend their day in a very simple and humble way. You will learn about the lifestyle and the traditional cuisine of the Berbers. after enjoying a mint tea with this local family, we will continue driving through the scenic valley to visit the typical products of the area, such as clay pottery, crystalline minerals, woodcraft shops, carpets, argan oil cooperative where Berber women work in a traditional way to make the famous argan oil that is used both for food and cosmetics.

After visiting the cooperative, we will continue to reach the end of the asphalt road, where we will meet our local guide to take you on another adventure walking tour through the villages to visit and discover the waterfalls and the source of the Ourika valley river.

after that, you will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant on a panoramic terrace or by the river feet in the water.
