Tour from Marrakesh to Fes 3 Days

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge

Early morning pick up from your Riad/Hotel in Marrakech and travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the Ticha Pass (2260 m), the highest road pass in Morocco. Offering panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains and their magnificent landscapes, we visit several Kasbah along the way – including Telouet and Ait Benhaddou. The Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou is a 16th century UNESCO site – one of the best-preserved and most spectacular Kasbah in Morocco. Scenes from the blockbuster hit movie of 2000 – Gladiator – were filmed in Ait Benhaddou, lunch in the Kasbah.

Then continue our journey towards Ouarzazate, where we will stop to visit the Cinema Studios (optional) and another fortified Kasbah in the heart of the city. Continue along the way road of 1000 Kasbahs and the roses valley, we’ll enjoy the landscapes of Berber villages before arriving at Dades Gorge where we will spend the night in Hotel or Riad (HB).

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

After breakfast, we leave to Merzouga; where the highest sand dunes of Morocco are located. Your driver/guide will stop anywhere you want to take a photo or walk for some time. After 1 hour of driving, we’ll arrive at the great canyons in the Todra Gorges where you will have free time to explore the area and take some amazing photos, enjoying the amazing landscapes, then, continue to the Sahara desert, stop for lunch in the village of Tinjdad. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the Erfoud oasis, which is famous for its dates in Morocco. Passing through small Berber villages, before arriving at the Merzouga / erg Chebbi, where we’ll find the camels waiting for us to explore the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, and admire such beautiful lifetime sunset over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Continue in a camel trek to the desert camp, where we’ll spend the night in Berber desert tents with dinner and Berber local music.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Cedar Forest – Ifran – Fes

Don’t miss the sunrise,  early morning wake-up is recommended to assist sunrise from the top of the Chebbi sand dunes. Then you will camel trek to the Kasbah where you will enjoy a Berber and delicious breakfast served by friendly Berber people; (in case you choose a luxury camp, breakfast and will be served onsite, as well you will take shower as you have tents with private bathrooms); after breakfast, We will leave to Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco, along the road we will have many stops to take some amazing photos for the Berber villages and the green palm oasis, we will cross Errachidia and Ziz Valley, stop for lunch at Midelt, then continue our journey to reach Azrou, the bog cedar forest, where we will stop to meet the wild Barbary Apes (Macaques). And then, continue to Fes via the beautiful city of Ifran, referred to as the small Switzerland of Morocco. After a short visit to Ifran, we will continue to Fes, where we will drop you at your hotel or Riad in Fes.
